Coinciding with a key project milestone on Dec. 13, 2021, the Rush Line bus rapid transit (BRT) project transitioned to the Metropolitan Council as the METRO Purple Line. The proposed 15-mile transit route includes planned stations between Union Depot in Saint Paul and downtown White Bear Lake and will operate primarily in dedicated bus lanes seven days a week, serving stops every ten minutes during rush hours and every fifteen minutes during other times. The project will connect people to jobs, education, healthcare and recreation destinations while supporting economic development along the corridor.

You're a Rush geek nerd fan, you found your way here, and you want to join our community. Even if the only Rush song you know is "Tom Sawyer," you're welcome to hang out! Here are a few helpful tips for signing up.

The join process here is the same as most message boards. One important thing we want to stress is submitting a valid email address. If you don't give us a working email we can't validate your account and you'll never be able to post content. We've had to delete many a new account simply because the board can't communicate with the person trying to join. So please submit a valid email and double-check for typos.

If you submitted a valid and working email address and after a few days you never received a validation email, please email us at ad...@therushforum.com, and make sure you send it from the same email address you used when you first joined so that we can match it up with your account.

If you're already an existing member and are having trouble accessing your account -- maybe you haven't visited in a while and you've forgotten your username or password -- you can try the password recovery link on the login screen. If that's unsuccessful, please email us at ad...@therushforum.com -- again, if possible, using the same email address you used when you joined -- and we'll try and help you out. Try to include whatever account info you can so we know you're you.

It looks like you may be using a web browser version that we don't support. Make sure you're using the most recent version of your browser, or try using of these supported browsers, to get the full Made experience: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge.

Energy Rush Hours are like traffic rush hours. Just as traffic clogs up roads when everyone drives to work at the same time, Energy Rush Hours occur when everyone in a particular area turns on air conditioning (AC) or heating at once. Imagine what can happen when millions of people turn on their air conditioners during a heat wave. This, in addition to all the usual energy use in households (running the refrigerator, the TV, lights, computers etc.) creates a peak in energy demand and increases costs.
