Hey everyone!

This email has been a LONG time coming. My monthly newsletter has been
anything but since I launched it in July. But I digress. There has
been a TON of exciting things going on, and I'm glad that you are a
part of my community. It still humbles me deeply that you rely on me
to provide weather information to you. For your trust and friendship,
I am extremely grateful.

WHAT I'VE BEEN UP TO

In the last newsletter, I hinted at several business opportunities
that had been presented to me that centered around KC Weather. Since
that time, I've been working with 3 guys in town to launch a new
weather consulting company. WE LAUNCH TODAY!

I'm very pleased to announce the formation of LRC Weather! -
http://LRCWeather.com

If the name "LRC" sounds familiar, it should. The LRC is the weather
theory that Gary Lezak has been developing since the 1980s (coined
"Lezak's Recurring Cycle). With the formation of LRC Weather, I'll be
teaming up once again with Gary Lezak, along with Jeff Penner (also of
KSHB) and Scott Metsker (all-around uber weather enthusiast) to
provide unparalleled short and long-range weather forecasting for
people and businesses. Utilizing and developing the LRC weather theory
is center point in the company, and the theory puts us leaps and
bounds above anyone else in the business. We provide personal and
interactive forecasts for businesses of all kinds. We are already
talking to potential clients, so we are well on our way already.

The main feature of the website (http://LRCWeather.com) right now is
our blog, which will serve to generate discussions around current
weather, the LRC, information about the company, and other things. We
will be adding exciting new features in the future. Some of the things
we've tossed around include videos, podcasts, streaming severe weather
coverage, newsletters, and member gatherings to name a few. In short,
not only will we be providing services for businesses in need of
personalized forecasts, but we'll be expanding our services out to
everyone. It's really an exciting time, and I look forward to what the
future has in store for us.

First question: How does this effect the Kansas City Weather Podcast?
Answer: It doesn't. I'll still be providing daily forecasts has I have
been for the last 4 years. While I may periodically roll in a video
over an audio forecast, you can still rely on me to provide you with
weather information every day. We plan to link-up the podcast into the
LRC Website in the near future, so the podcast will likely GROW in the
future instead of shrink.

There is much more to go over, but I wanted to at least tell you guys
first about the new company. I've extremely excited about where we are
doing, and if it wasn't for the constant support you have given me
through the podcast, blog, and twitter, it's possible that this may
not have happened.

Thanks again everyone, and I hope you have a FANTASTIC week!

Ed
