Workshops and Dance this Saturday and Sunday.

[Kansas City Swing Corps]

I think just about everyone I know probably knows that one of my favorite hobbies is swing dance. It's a physically and cognitively engaging way to enjoy music with friends. If you or someone you know is interested in learning to swing dance in Kansas City, January 21st is THE DAY. A friend of mine has been working on a beginner program for a while now. I've seen the early stages and it seems to be a really effective way of learning. He's doing an afternoon version of this workshop on Sunday the 21st. It's a great way to get all your basics in during one afternoon. And it's only $20! 
There will also be a set of workshops on Saturday (the 20th) for people who've already done some swing in the past. A great way to get back into stuff this year if you're a little rusty!
