"The tax that supports public transit in Kansas City was last renewed in 2009 and is set to expire next March. Yesterday the city council voted to put the sales tax on the November ballot."

So there will be a November ballot. Of course, our ability to get on it at this late stage is questionable. But at least if we know by then that we're on the April ballot, it's an excellent leafleting opportunity, and we'd have more volunteers if it's "Vote Yes on Question X next time."
