KC R Users Meeting Saturday 2pm

Just a reminder - KC R users group meeting tomorrow at 2pm in the small meeting room, Plaza library. Small meeting room is on the right as you round the corner toward the children's section. 

Earl is going to discuss aggregation of data frames, and if Steve makes it, he'll talk about integration of BUGS and R and show some examples, and anyone participating in the coursera data analysis course can feel free to discuss it.

I got a swag shipment from Revolution analytics if anyone is feeling low on flying R monkeys or needs an R t-shirt. Perhaps I should explore alternate uses for t-shirts such as dust rags, pillow cases, or quilts, because we really have too many. Maybe next year I'll tell them to skip the swag box...

The next meeting is scheduled for May 4th at 2pm in the plaza library large meeting room -- I'm skipping April because rooms were booked + I'm going to be kind of busy with a tiny baby.

I've written up a document showing two additional aggregation techniques in R. One uses the plyr package and another uses the data.table package. I can speak more about it after you if we have time.

query your data frame as thought it were an sql table!
