So, Brian, do we blame Iran for THIS too?

The US already has 50K troops in the ME. Now adding to that number. 

Two marine expeditionary forces. Those are the guys who put "boots on the ground". But Trump promised not to do that. Another lie; this one might cost serious loss of life. 

An undeclared "non-war", with undeclared goals and undeclared endpoint, now with potential loss of life. Is that an impeachable offense? 

BTW, in Afghanistan, the US maxed out at 110K troops, with NATO kicking in another 40K. 

We're in the ballpark in terms of numbers. And it's only been a couple of weeks. 

    We've burned through millions of dollars in missiles; enough that our supply is getting depleted. Time to ramp up the MIC.
