More and more shitty politics Inspecting ICE detention centers is the privilege of various representatives. So Noem puts limits on access for no reason other than to get back at the ICE murder of a civilian. There's no connection here other than this admin's ingrained need to distract, deflect, dissemble, obfuscate and disobey the law. All the while they speak of transparency. What bullshit. 

Forcing people to schedule inspections allows ICE to dress up the facility and hide defects and substandard treatment. Potemkin village. At least it isn't the invention of the Nazis.
