Got a Democrat in mind, Brian; or are you just throwing around shit like a chimpanzee in the zoo? 

I just don't recall any of the Dems in my adult lifetime doing things like this. 

But in your Trump addled world blame shifting means it's Tuesday. 

Some of us SAW  Jan 6 unfold in real time. We didn't see it as a peaceful protest.. It was a violent riot, with injury to many people and destruction of property. It also disrupted the ordinary function of the US gov't. But Trump, his minions, and many low knowledge MAGA-ites just don't want reality to be real. Sorry, but that's not how things work. 

He and his have been working to undo reality for years. This is just the latest example in a long line of examples.

I'm sure that there are plenty. They're probably the southern democrats that lost the Civil War, the ones  that are now racist Republicans. 

But I don't recall this kind of blatant rewrite taking place all over the US. 

BTW, I see that they Park Service was ordered to remove statements enshrined at Bunker Hill. One was from Vietnam vets who wished for peace and less war. Too woke. One dealt with the conflict of freedom loving FF's holding slaves. WAY too woke. And then was the statement that immigrants should be held  in the same regard as "non-immigrants". What the fuck was a non-immigrant in 1770? 

But this was too woke for the Trumpists. 

But I'm sure that Democrats are just as guilty of doing this stuff everywhere. Just need some substantiation from you, not empty bullshit. And if you want your what-about-ism to carry weight, make sure that your examples have some heft. 

I also like the rewrite at the Grand Canyon, where you can buy a book that explains how the GC was created by Noah's flood. But that was way before Trump, not his craziness. That's courtesy of the crazy religious rightists.
