RFK picks anti-vaxxer for vaccine panel.

So science to RFK is picking someone whose  mind is already made up. The female Ob/Gyn mentioned that she went "down the vaccine rabbit hole" after Covid. That person shouldn't be within a hundred miles of any scientific  panel. 

And the male Ob/Gyn said that "the science is not long settled" regarding vaccines. Actually it's been settled since Edward Jenner started doing it in 1797. 

Truth be told, people were "vaccinating" people against smallpox by inoculating them with fluid from smallpox pustules for almost a century before Jenner. This caused about 2% of treated patients to get smallpox;; but that was more than 10X less than untreated people. Other countries used dried smallpox fluid and had  people snort it. This worked too; but again with people getting smallpox. 

So this doubt about vaccines is pure, unadulterated bullshit. And it is apparently more contagious than any disease being discussed. Too bad that they isn't a vaccine for STUPID. 

What is a subject for debate is exactly how and when to apply the science. But that's not the same as denying the massively positive benefits of vaccinations. By far the most life saving single medical advancement EVER. Yes, more than antibiotics. 

The most life saving single development ever? Sanitation.
