So Trump told us more than a few times the Medicare/Medicaid and other safety net  programs would be protected. Now, he tells us that we can't afford them. "We're too big a nation". And "We have wars to fight". Etc

So his Project 2025 plans are clear:

Tax breaks for the wealthy

More money for the military

Tough shit for everything else.
