This isn't news. You have heard of meat packing plants? Agriculture? Hotels/motels? No. Well they hire thousands of undocumented, and have for decades. 

But I'll guess that you're more interested in beef and pork than having some wetback work on a your toilet, or who changes sheets in a place you never stay at. 

Try to stick to things that matter. 

Or sign up to be one of Steven Miller's goon. I think that ICE and DHS are hiring people willing to wear masks and bend the rules. And they  let you carry an AR.

Let's wave the BK magic wand. Poof, tomorrow every undocumented meat/chicken/pork processor is gone. Poof, every undocumented agricultural worker is gone. Every roofer and home construction worker-gone

What' for dinner tomorrow? Maybe it will be good; fat white truckers can start losing some weight. Or they'll get worse because their entire diet will be Corn-nuts and Ho-ho''s. 

But a lot a Americans are going to find big gaps in their pantry and refrigerator. 

The housing market will have some real trouble too. 

But not to worry. Those magical white 'Muricans will somehow appear to fill the gaps and take jobs that they've never taken before. 

Immigrants, legal and undocumented, are woven into the fabric of American society. Removing them wholesale would put a serious rip in that fabric. But white Christian nationalists will be pleased; at least until dinner. 

But from your POV, one good thing would happen. The economy of your favorite state, California, would likely suffer immensely. See, silver lining in an otherwise clouded situation.

Maybe we could get a Democrat back in the White House and improve unemployment. Unemployment numbers sank like the Titanic under Biden AND Obama. 

Now THAT'S an idea to live with. 

In the meantime, are we imagining that WHITE youth are going to work in a meat plant? Or pick strawberries in 100 degree heat? Good luck with that. I'm closing my eyes and imagining an 19 year old kid from suburban Overland Park hammering nails on my roof.

Don't know if this matters; but there about 7.7 million job openings right now in the US. 

Maybe DF can merge this data with the unemployment rate and make sense of it. But it looks like if we send 10 million people out of country that there will be a LOT more job openings that won't get filled. 

Wouldn't that huge gap in available labor create a huge demand, thus increasing salaries? And then inflation? And then...................?

Looks like the Law of Unintended Consequences might come into play.

Oh shit....there are probably hundreds.....maybe more. I take a reasoned approach to my illegals:

1) I understand they want in my house because it's cold outside and warm in here

2) Many of them mind their own business, i never see them, and i have no intention of tearing my house apart to find them

3) When i do see them, I do an analysis check: Are them harmful? Are they beneficial? Are they a nuisance?  etc.

4) Depending on my analysis, I take corrective actions: 

       -  For beneficial folks like certain types of spiders, i leave them be

       -  For those who are non-threatening but still a nuisance, like stink bugs, i relocate them

       -  For large invasions of otherwise beneficial folks such as ants, i strengthen my barrier outside the home

       -  For those that can be problematic because they carry diseases or other filth....like mice or cockroaches.....i gotta smoke 'em

Okay, Brian, G and I can dispense with the cute stuff when  you dispense with the  bullshit comparison between our HOUSE and our COUNTRY. 

Now all you have to do is explain how we find the illegals without trampling the rights of MANY US citizens. I'd say that's impossible or nearly so. 

And if magically we can identify all (or most) of the undocumented people, how do we remove them? Getting many million people to the southern border and across is no easy task. 

Buses? Trains? Maybe cattle cars? They've worked before. 

And when they're at the border, what next? Do we just make them Mexico's problem? They're not all from Mexico originally. 

And if we just boot them over the Rio Grande, what's to say that bunches of them won't make it back?

We haven't been able to secure the border  under ANY admin, including Trump's. How much military are we going to commit to securing the border? At what financial cost?

And what's for dinner tomorrow? 

Here's an analogy that means essentially nothing. Some time in the 70's, California decided that Doctors of Medicine, M.D.'s, and osteopaths, D.O.'s, were essentially the same. So by fiat they declared that D.O.'s were M.D.'s with all privileges that adhere. Osteopathic schools became med schools. I went to one of those. 

So, by fiat we can declare everyone here a US citizen. Presto, problem solved. Couple that with better border security and the deal is done. 

Ten million people come out of the shadows. We suddenly have many, many more people  paying taxes, paying into Social Security, etc. We suddenly solve, at least temporarily, the aging problem of the  population. Etc. 

Nothing but good comes of this; that is, unless you are really committed to the notion that the US belongs being really WHITE. 

But at least it'll stay Christian, if you don't mind Catholics as part of that. 

Rounding up and tossing out tens of millions of people is a disaster waiting to happen. There will be violence; there will be citizens caught up in such a dragnet. Nothing good will come of it. But a whole bunch of nativist bubbas will get some temporary sense of satisfaction.
