GOP's war on naturalized citizens' right to vote

So an immigrant jumps through the hoops and becomes a legit US citizen. It used to be that they could register to vote at the swearing in ceremony. 

But Trump made that more difficult by barring NGO groups from assisting at the ceremony. Illegal on many fronts. The groups have 1A rights to assemble, etc. 

But that's not enough. Once registered, Trump is now using the SAVE act, which tracks which immigrants are allowed to get gov't benefits, to track voter roles. But this group frequently fails to monitor when immigrants become citizens. So some naturalized citizens who have registered to vote are being removed from voter roles. 

Due to this gov't incompetence. 

A great boost to democracy. 

The rationale is that immigrants are more likely to vote Democratic (they are); and that justifies discriminating against them exercising their newly granted rights. They see this as an "invasion".
