He says it's "too far away". Gimme a friggin' break. 

I haven't decided if this makes me more or less likely to watch. I would have loved to see the crowd's reaction when he was introduced. And that's why he's gonna be a no-show.

One thing Trump does that I approve of is he attends big sporting events. Never understood why more presidents didn't do this. IT's the best perk of the job! Obama did it, he loved sports.  W did it a little bit, he's a big baseball fan.

It is all the way across the country...if only he had a big comfy plane to fly on.

It's in a San Francisco suburb, very liberal. He anticipates 60K + people booing him. Can't stand the heat. 

For him it's a 3 hour flight. And the airport is very close to the stadium. 

He's a chicken shit, plain and simple.

Agree the Prez whoever s/he is should do more appearances. Although sometimes the logistics and especially security concerns can get in the way. 

Be nice, even when you don't want to!

He's flying really fast, G. But I mis-estimated the flight time. Commercial flights take about 6 hours. I figure that AF 1  is faster; but not that much faster. Maybe five hours?

In any case, Trump can spend the time railing at the media and rage posting on his non-Truth Social. In between naps of course. 

Hell, it's just slightly longer than one of his MANY rounds of golf. 

As for security, lots of POTUS have gone to the Super Bowl. I don't suspect that this stadium is any more difficult to secure; unless of course someone stupidly thinks that the location in California is inherently more dangerous.
