Trans people have fewer "stand your ground right" than others

Several clear cut cases suggest that a trans  person exercising the right to self defense doesn't fare as well as, say, a hetero white male. Same for Black males. 

But what else is new, right? Because systemic denial of rights/privileges due to race/sexual orientation/etc don't exist any more.
