I'm sure that BK can explain this to us on the political left and center. Somehow this is supposed to be a "right-speak" call for moderation and the prevailing of cooler heads. But to me it sounds like a call for vengeance, retribution and a further coarsening of political rhetoric; not to mention a political attack on Trump's perceived enemies. But then I didn't major in English. And I never learned to translate "asshole-speak".
