SCOTUS permits bribery by state officials

So it's illegal for me to offer Senator Whozzit a bride to help pass favorable legislation. But if I discuss with him and then the legislation passes, I'm allowed to now pay him for his help. 

The 6 conservative Justices are a sad embarrassment. The USC has rather specific language that covers this issue. What's really sad is this collection of clowns talk about originalism; but when there is plain language that they don't like, they just rule against it.

These folks are a real danger to real democracy.
