While the media owned and controlled by these very same companies keep you distracted that is the dumpster fire that is the 2024 election the real problems like this one go unnoticed by most people.

Uh, I read this one BK. The headline is real clickbait bullshit. These companies are INVESTED in 80+% of companies; but don't OWN it all. I can buy into 100% of the S&P by buying an index fund. Doesn't mean that I own more than 0.000000000001% of the S&P. 

That said, they do buy a lot  of houses, enough to influence prices.
