Possibly. A WR is in play as well, though this year's crop isn't all that impressive.
If their top 1 or 2 DTs are already gone by 9, i would look for them to try and trade down.....but not sure who would want to trade up with them. Not a great class this year overall. I'm not nearly as sold on the Indiana QB as everyone else seems to be....especially since he'll be going to one of the worst run organizations in team sports.
Walker is a bit of a gamble with his injury history and complete inability to catch a football out of the backfield....but so what, Reid doesn't seem to like throwing to RB's anymore anyway unless it's behind the line of scrimmage.
Kelce's decision was the right one for both him and the team. Reportedly he could have made more money elsewhere but why? Money aint an issue when yer marring one of the richest women in the world. Plus it's his instincts and familiarity with Mahomes that took him from good/great to elite/GOAT.....try doing that in one year with Rodgers in Pittsburgh or Dak in Dallas. Wasn't gonna happen.
Haven't seen the number yet but i'm guessing it's in the range of 1 year, $12-$15M...more than this org would normally be in a position to play a TE on the downside of his careef....but legacy and fan connection means more in Kansas City than it does in most cities, so overpaying that "legend" tax on Kelce is smart business by Hunt.
