Congratulations to RFK and the anti-vaxers in the US. People will DIE from this. 

The ones I worry about are the vaccines that prevent bacterial meningitis. 

This is the pneumococcal vaccine in its various iterations, the H-flu vaccine, and perhaps most important, the meningococcal vaccine. 

Meningococcal meningitis is a regular problem on college campuses. Used to be a serious problem on military bases. The common thread is close proximity in living quarters. The military solved the problem to a great degree by moving bunks more than 6 feet apart.

This meningitis progresses very rapidly. A person can go from flu-like symptoms, fever/headache to coma and death in less than 24  hours. College students who get sick may take Tylenol, go to bed and wake up dead. 

The other meningitis bacteria most often affect young children. Again  very rapid progression from fever and vague symptoms to "too late". Survivors have a high rate of various neurologic problems. 

BTW, I've only seen ONE case of childhood meningitis in the last 25 years. Why do you imagine that to be the case? And that child had the "college" bug. She had been ill for a few hours, came to my ER, got figured out within 30 minutes, and still ended up on a ventilator at Children's Mercy. Ended up okay though. Thank goodness someone recognized the giveaway rash. 

People will die because of this idiocy. I'm sure it will enhance immigration/tourism to Southern red states where this epidemic of stupid is spreading rapidly. This may even change the political landscape. Hmmm...................
