Iran war redux

So Trump wants a coalition of several nations to send naval forces to open the Strait of Hormuz. 

Comment #1; If the oil pipelines render the shipment of oil through the SoH moot, why the intenses interest? 

Comment #2; how many nations do we involve before calling this a "world war"? IMO we're there. 

Comment #3; Aren't we glad that Trump is the "peace prez". Imagine if he were a war monger. Bull brings China shop to international diplomacy. 

And in other news, after  bombing Kharg Island, Trump says he may bomb it more "just for fun". What serious person would ever think to talk like that? This is a really clueless clown driving a clown car full of equally clueless clowns over a cliff. He still doesn't even know why he's attacking Iran; and if he does, he can't explain it to the US in plain English. He doesn't comprehend the weight that offhand comments carry; like this last one. And now comes word that China is "rooting" for Iran. Who among us is stupid enough to think that "rooting' doesn't imply some help in the hear future?

And I almost forgot. Chief clown Hegseth is sending a MARINE expeditionary force to Iran. Now one thing we can agree on is that Marines means "boots on the ground". I can hardly wait.

BKK, if the four of us on this board happened to be in some salt mines in rural Kansas together and while we are down there the POTUS ordered all nuclear ICBMs launched, and other nations responded in kind, and Congress was never informed, and then the four of us emerge to discover we are the only four humans left alive -- would you tell us there was no war?

Well, Dave, Trump has on more than one occasion called this an "excursion". His handlers don't want to correct  him; but it's felt that he might be meaning an "incursion". That would make more sense than calling it essentially a vacation trip. But incursion is a nice dodge from using the term "war". 

But this "incursion" now involves, to some degree, at least TWENTY nations. They are either being attacked or or lending support to one side or the other. 

So now it's a world wide "incursion". So W.I. III.
