U.N. agency pauses Strait of Hormuz evacuation effort as ship struck off Oman https://share.google/3Rrd6ahZX2Y06Y6HV

Why is it the rest of the world will lay down and prostrate themselves to the Iranians instead of knocking the shit out of them for their piracy?

The rest of the word is pretty sure that TRUMP started this fiasco on his own. No notification or consultation with anyone except Israel. So they think it's Trump's problem to solve. And they're right. They think Trump needs to put up whatever is needed to get things resolved. Trump/Hegseth have made it clear how powerful our military is; so why do we suddenly need the help of lesser nations? Maybe they see that all of Trump's military might can't resolve the problem; and that theirs won't matter.
And now Trump looks like the menu special at IHOP, all the waffles you can eat. Nobody wants any part of his idiotic approach to diplomacy.
I don't blame any of them.
Your mess; you fix it. And don't expect a dollar from us or a soldier/sailor/marine placed at risk. Why should any of these nations follow Trump into a swamp of his own creation? They know that he won't consult ANYONE for advice or direction. They don't want their name on any of this.
I agree.

If I start beating the crap out of you and you start attacking people trying to walk down the sidewalk, what happens to them is not my fault.
Be nice, even when you don't want to!

That's a stupid analogy that misses all the subtleties of what's happening. Iran is exerting its influence as it is able. They can't go toe to toe with the US. But they sure fuck things up in their neighborhood; which it turns out influences a LOT of other neighborhoods. Sort of like El Nino; an isolated phenomenon in the eastern Pacific that affects weather over the entire world. Iran is El Nino, and they know it. And they know that Trump has limited ability to do a lot about it.
You used to be smart about military actions. You know that a country can't really be subdued without boots on the ground. Are you ready to call for that? Kindly let us know. But the 100+ billion in ordinance hasn't stopped Iran from making mischief. Adding in the bombs from Euro nations probably won't do much more.

Are you comparing rhe ruthless Islamofascist homophobic misogynistic antisemitic 8th century mindset regime in Iran to a weather pattern?
Dude quit sampling your samples.

Sock puppet time, Brian. The comparison involves the FACT that El Nino, itself confined to a relatively small part of the Pacific Ocean, can influence things all over the world. Iran, relatively small, also can influence things all over the world.
Did I dumb it down enough for you? It's hard to do, I know. It's not about motivation or ideology. You CAN'T be stupid enough to think that El Nino has religious/political "motivation". It's about Iran's/El Nino's ability to punch above their weight in regards to global influence.
The analogy goes even further with Trump. He's clueless as to how both of them operate, and the damage they can do. Need more sock puppets? He's fucked up response to both Iran and global climate.

Iran isn't a weather pattern. Israel can be influenced. The fact that some nations are letting Iran push them around isn't a fait accompli it is a choice.

Oh, and I really thought that Iran was like ocean water being pushed around by offshore breezes.
I read a site last night that showed that Germans have multiple ways of calling  people stupid.
Did your mother comb your hair with a hammer? It sounds better in the original language.
Stop showing us that you don't get an analogy. Just show us that you can understand that a country with limited military resources, which have been decimated by bombings, can still be a thorn in the side of international economics. That's all that I wish for from you. And while trying to wrap your head around that, try to get how badly Trump misunderstood the situation.
As for Israel, it appears that to some extent the tail is wagging the dog. Trump seems to have been goaded into this morass by Netanyahu. And both leaders are in serious political trouble. Trump is absolutely clueless as to his next steps. And Iran knows this.
If this was Obama or Biden you'd be shouting from the rooftops about their incompetence. But when it's Trump, crickets. And a plea to inflict more damage on Iran.
Clueless, meet clueless.
