Gimme a fuckin' break. When Trump says nobody saw this coming, he means that he didn't listen to anybody telling him this would happen. 

At least TWO people knew this might happen. Me, and a person on the team negotiating with Iran. I won't presume to think that we're the only ones. Anybody with an IQ higher than today's temperature (pretty high mind you) would have at least suspected that this might happen. Problem is that Trump had his mind made up; and he wasn't to be dissuaded from attacking Iran. He made it clear that the mission would be swift, thorough and complete. Of course reality was destined to be something quite different. But Trump and reality aren't really on speaking terms. 

So here we are.
