I'm guessing DF was trying to be snarky. I had a different article about this available.
Looks to me simple enough. Trump has set his sights on another piece of gov't to take over.
Part of his week of similar behavior. He fires, prosecutes or otherwise attacks anyone that displeases him.
I'll post on a separate thread; but it's part of the pattern.
Trump is "inclined" to keep Exxon out of VZ. Why? Because Exxon's CEO had the  temerity to tell the truth, that VZ was likely to be an investment nightmare.
Okay, never mind, here's the post:

Just another example of Trump making decisions based on personal animus. Exxon tells him that VZ is a tough lift. Presto; they're out of the picture.
Can't wait until the other companies go in and find out the truth. Who's going to pay for the inevitable cost overruns? Lemme guess.

Yes, indeed. Ken. Full snark intended. Clearly another power grab.

Page #1 of the Trump playbook. If somebody has influence/authority/power that he wants, then threaten, belittle and maybe threaten to sue/arrest.
I like that chairman Powell is standing up to Trump. Is Trump committing another crime here?
