Sorry, Brian, reality isn't quite what  you make  it to be. First, Europe hasn't started yet; and this coalition requires that all EU nations agree with the plan. 

Also, note that they are NOT part of the Iran/US conflict (can't call it a wary, can we?). In fact, they won't start mine sweeping until the hostilities are concluded. 

So, it's clear that the EU is NOT involved in what is going on between US/us and Iran. 

Also note that this operation Aspides has been around since 2014. So they've been "around" the whole time. But they are NOT entering into the war. 

Trump gets to own this fuckup by himself.
