US' largest warship, the flagship of the fleet (?). Catches fire, has 600 sailors without beds, many injured, etc. Oh, and toilets back up. Kind of embarrassing.
And that was without enemy involvement.
War has unexpected costs. The Pentagon is asking for $200 billion for this "excursion".
But the hidden costs that matter are human loss. Friendly fire (no loss of life), just plain fire, etc. This admin is so clearly clueless. As such they are unable to explain to Americans a clear reason for the attack and the inherent costs. They also can't explain the timeline or what is expected when it's "over".
Sad, sorry effort; and now the "mothership" is messed up.
