I support this idea. If women want equality then they should be shouting from the rooftops to sign up.

Too bad some of your fellow travelers are so against this.
I wonder if registering for the SSS is needed any longer at all, men or women. Isn't the military  essentially  all volunteer these days anyway?
Do away with registering all together. If it becomes necessary in the future, then EVERYONE should register.
Works just fine for Israel; would work for us too.
Very sad that a veteran with facial burns would trot out his own injuries and use it as a poster for objecting.
How about Tammy Duckworth? Should she start parading around showing off her injuries? (Double amputee for those needing a refresher).
Conservatives are sometimes really stupid for sure. This goes with all the other patronizing laws that they try to pass involving women. All poison fruit from the same tree.

And there isn't one. However selective service registration is a requirement for men. It should be a requirement for women too.

Or that either way is fine with me.

We should also get rid of all quotas and preferential hiring practices in government jobs as well. Level the playing field.

Trying my best, G; but I try to clean up bullshit if there's too much of it.
The notion that the playing field left unregulated is somehow level is the default position of those for whom the field has been tilted in their favor for centuries. Now that the "tilt" is built in for the white males, they feel comfortable calling it level and getting  rid of any regulation.
Sorry G; but I hope that was polite enough.
