So, see I get this right. Honduran President takes millions in bribes to assist cocaine traffickers, gets convicted in US court system. Trump pardons, based on word of "people that I respect" who say he was treated harshly.
So justice in the US now consists kissing Trump's ring (or other body part), or getting someone else to do it for you. Presto, you're free.
This is bad on many levels. The worst is that it shows that Trump puts himself above our justice system. There hasn't been thus far any suggestion that El Presidente was treated unfairly or got poor counsel. He just got the blessing of Trump's favor.

This pattern is getting repeated. Trump sends DOJ goons to prosecute people who don't deserve it, and pardons goons who've been convicted.
Honduran Prez

Etc.
Total corruption of justice in the US. And not anywhere the appropriate amount of pushback from the media, Congress or essentially anyone.
I follow Democracy Docket, established by Marc Elias. He continues to be a consistent voice in the wilderness. He and his law firm have brought, and won, dozens of suits against Trump and his DOJ pets. But the media has been greatly silenced, thanks to lawsuits, intimidation, and ownership by billionaires who suck up to Trump bigly.
