Yes they turn, despite EVERY effort of this administration to throw sand in the gears. Every time someone gets injured, ICE/DHS immediately starts to brand the victim as a domestic terrorist, or illegal alien. It happens every time. Only with great effort, and the actions of MORAL actors, does justice prevail. The problem is that the DOJ, as suggested by its name, is supposed to administer justice to WTP. But what it does instead is act as a prosecutorial agent for Trump, often at the expense of justice for us. The only reason is that it isn't worse is that Trump hasn't been able to purge the justice system at lower levels. These are the people that keep the wheels turning. Trump will replace Bondi with a WORSE ideologue, more committed to Trump's agenda of retribution.
