Steve Bannon tells the truth after Dems blowout election day

"Some people in this room are going to jail". Bannon here is probably talking about himself, as well as others. 

It's one of the drivers of Republicans' massive push to corrupt the elections in '26 and '28. It may not be true in the least. 

Democrats, unlike Trump, are NOT running campaigns based on retribution and vengeance. But sadly, if they do control enough levers of power, they might start some criminal prosecutions. The problem is that these will be seen by MAGA-nuts as retribution, tit for tat, even if the targets are obvious criminals. Bannon himself clearly defrauded people with his "build the wall" thing. If I had my way, I'd appoint special prosecutors from Republican circles; people not clearly among the retribution seekers. Of course, Trump and the Kool-aid crowd will label them as they did Liz Cheney. Maybe they can get someone like William Barr to lead things. Maybe there isn't an unbiased Republican left to do such work. 

But the Reps are fearful. That's worrisome; because they  don't have any ability to limit their quest for power.
