See, rules are rules, even in Californiastan. Ballots were sent in too late to qualify. 

So it's not open season on late voting. California has a system, and rules that need to be followed. Noted in the article is that 90% of the state's voters use mail. 

No wonder Trump doesn't trust the results, while of course using the mail himself to vote.
