HiThis is Thesecret1070. I am an admin of this site. Edit as much as you wish, but one little thing... If you are going to edit a lot, then make yourself a user and login. Other than that, enjoy Villains Wiki!!!

SCP-2845, also known as The Deer or Deer from Saturn, is a major antagonist in the SCP Foundation series. It is an Esoteric-classed deer-like figured creature capable of transforming people into living organic pillars while causing mass destruction if the Foundation doesn't enact a specific horrific ritual.

SCP-2845 appears to measure 2.9 meters in height, while it weighs over 815 kilograms. SCP-2845 appears to have a sinuous neck while his head appears to have humanoid facial coloration. SCP-2845 also has antlers that measure 4.8 meters. The antlers appear to be black and white and they are not observed to shed.

SCP-2845 also appears to be covered full of hair that measures a length of 10 cm, while the face is totally hairless. SCP-2845's coloration is mainly pastel green, with stripes of cream on the neck and the belly. On the skull of SCP-2845, it appears that he has a ring of ice suspended behind of it that measures 15 cm and 1.7 m in diameter.

SCP-2845 known as the master of matter and particles by SCP-7629 was one of the many beings praised by humans, Fae and Yeren along with the iron scholar and his sister the mother of flesh, the Monarch of Blood, the serpent and its dark counterpart.

The anomaly arrived on Earth on a comet and started to cause havoc. It took the SCP Foundation, the Global Occult Coalition, and another occult organization over three months to properly contain the being.

SCP-2845 is capable of transmutations and reconstructions when needed. This property manifests at its own will. The maximum power of this ability is anonymous. The matter will remain active despite the lack of these factors: metallic hydrogen and helium, which will remain in either solid or liquid form despite the surrounding temperature.

SCP-2845 is held back with a six-step ritual that includes some controversial steps. These rituals are based around the worship and myth of the Greek titan Kronos (also known as Saturn in Roman culture).

In an unknown world, at the beginning of its time, two gods were created: The Flame and The Vision. The Flame was the representation of the light: everything good in the world, and the continuation of that goodness. The Vision was the representation of the darkness. all the evil in the world, and the continuation of that evil. They were each others' antithesis, the constant growing light and the extinguishing of the light. Together, the brothers created the concepts of Place and Story, and created humans to populate these places and to tell numerous stories.

The Vision loved to observe the humans. The Flame warned him of getting too close, wanting the humans to live their lives without interference, but The Vision began to visit one human in the form of a giant glowing deer with halo-like rings, and taught the human about magic. However, The Vision worked too quickly- the human went mad from receiving all magical knowledge and was cast aside by their peers, deemed "The Beast" for the wild magic they possessed. The Flame was horrified at the destruction the Beast caused and the discord among the humans, but the Vision merely laughed, pleased at the chaos it had sown.

The Flame cast the Beast away from the rest of humanity to protect them, but it felt sorrow at causing one harm to protect the many. It then turned to its brother, The Vision, and swore to protect humanity from him for as long as he should live. The two battled for years until finally, The Flame stuck The Vision down and trapped it in a small dimension outside of time. Now content in the knowledge of humanity's safety, The Flame discarded his divinity and joined the humans, taking the name Pangloss. He taught a trusted group the secrets of magic safely and settled down to start a family and live a mortal life.

The Vision, meanwhile, swore vengeance on Pangloss and on all of humanity. He took the name Saturn Deer, after the form he always preferred, and bided his time in his pocket dimension for thousands of years, gathering the strength and power necessary to escape and wreck havoc once more.

The pocket dimension that Saturn Deer was put in slowly transitioned from being his prison to his home dimension. He practiced manipulating reality by shaping the world around him into a more pleasing form, and honed his omniscience by peering into the lives of mortals. After many, many years, it discovered that it could look farther then just the lives of the mortals in its home world: it could peer farther and look through dimensions.

One mortal in particular caught his eye after thousands of years of watching over everything: someone who looked to be easily manipulated, someone searching for a concrete answer to all of their problems. The boy was in so much pain, and he was searching for a reason for all of his pain, thinking it could be something supernatural. Saturn Deer watched this young boy pore over thousands of books until he came across an old text that detailed the battle between The Flame and The Vision. As the boy began to call out to The Flame, begging for an answer, Saturn Deer saw an opportunity.

Using the raw power held in the plea of a mortal to a god, Saturn Deer warped through the space between timelines and appeared in front of the boy, introducing himself as The Vision for the first time in centuries. The boy was wary at first of The Vision's reputation, but it lied to him, and told him that he had changed from the evil god he had once been to a more benevolent reflection of his brother. He told the boy to call him Saturn Deer, and the boy told him his name was Micah.

When Saturn Deer first entered young boy's mind, it searched for anything it could exploit or leverage as reasons for Micah to rely on it, and oh boy, did it find things. From its searching, it discovered that Micah Tavarius was an young kid with a troubled past. From what Micah could remember of his childhood, he had been subject to experiments to try and give normal people extraordinary powers. He had been injected with a substance called the "ACME Compound," and was one of seven survivors. The other six kids had disappeared shortly after they began to exhibit powers, so Micah kept his on a tight leash until the men in suits finally turned him out to the real world, disappointed in his "lack of progress." Micah quickly learned that holding in powers caused him incredible pain, and he searched tirelessly for an answer to how to stop it. When he happened upon Saturn Deer, he thought the answer to all his problems was right in front of him.

Saturn Deer nurtured and trained Micah for years, teaching him that it was the only being that he could trust. He taught him how to harness the wild magic inside him, and gave him a piece of its power to bring the magic already inside him to its fullest potential. Micah was all-too-willing to learn everything he could about wild magic, and frequently practiced his newfound power. However, he was still plagued with pain both from holding magic in and from letting it out.

Finally, Micah begged Saturn Deer to give him the last piece of knowledge it had left- the origin of magic. Saturn Deer hesitated for weeks, remembering what had happened the last time it had given a human the secrets of magic. Finally, on Micah's 25th birthday, Saturn Deer told him the same truth that he had told the very first mortal eons ago: the origin of magic is pain.

Micah was outraged to learn that the thing he thought was saving him from pain was actually causing it, and he resolved to destroy his pain at the source: destroying all magic. Saturn Deer merely laughed and told him that was the way the world of magic had always been, and there was nothing he could do to change it. Micah turned on it, desperate for any way to stop his pain, and they engaged in a brutal battle. Micah used all the magic he had against Saturn Deer, and even managed to break off its left antler.

Seeing the tide of battle turn against him, Saturn Deer warped into the space between realities to escape- only for Micah to join him and steer their battle into an all-too-familiar world. Back in his home realm, Saturn Deer used the full might of his power to subdue Micah and briefly trap him in a transmutation chamber inside its realm, warping him into something twisted and restricting his magic to only the powers and motif of cicadas. When he escaped to Arizona, he discarded his old name and took the mantle "Man of Cicadas," for the transformation he had undergone and the newly restricted powers he had.

Saturn Deer, seeing the problem that now presented itself, resolved to choose a new champion and use them to first destroy the Man of Cicadas, then to destroy any other opposition to its power and rule over all magic. The time for revenge was nigh.

The last thing Saturn Deer expected was for the perfect new champion to fall into his lap. When young Meredith Thompson wandered into his pocket dimension purely by accident, he could immediately sense his brother's power pulsing through her veins. Somehow he'd forgotten that Pangloss had settled down with a wife and kids, and naturally that family line had continued throughout the years it had been gone. What would be a more perfect "fuck you" to his perfect brother then to take his descendent as its new champion? The power inside her, combined with his, would make her the most magically powerful mortal in this world.
