Dear Students,

            This is to inform you that the Second Indo-Uk Workshop on "Biomicrofluidics and Micro-scale Bioengineering", organized by IIT Kharagpur, will be held on 9th December, 2012, at Jadavpur University, Kolkata. This workshop is a part of the collaborative research program between IIT Kharagpur and University of Southampton, UK, under the UK-India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI). It will feature talks, by prominent researchers form both UK and India. ATTENDING THIS WORKSHOP IS FREE OF COST AND BY INVITATION ONLY. All interested students are hereby requested to confirm their participation through a reply to the mail id indiaukw...@gmail.com. In addition to the doctoral students, there is provision for accommodating B.Tech and M.Tech students as well as participants. However, interested B. Tech and M.Tech students should also mention their CGPA while replying back. The format of application is given below (see the end of the mail). This will help us in devising an unbiased selection procedure, if the need arises. A detailed program schedule of the workshop will follow shortly.
