Job Description : .Net Support Analyst/North Chicago Suburb/6 Months Plus

 

Job Responsibilities:

IT Technology is a key enabler for our customers and a key focus for the company. The current technology infrastructure is based on Microsoft .NET 3.5/4.0 with C#.NET / ASP.NET, and SQL Server 2008 for the database backend.

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr .NET developer with a strong background in building scalable, high quality, and high performance web applications on the MS technology stack. This person will work within a team environment comprised of analysts, developers, and business resources to create and enhance enterprise systems that are used by internal and external customers to process business.

• Support applications Microsoft C#.NET, ASP.NET in Visual Studio 2008/2010 with .NET Framework 3.5/4.0 • Develop Web Services using Microsoft .NET WCF and ASMX technologies • Develop stored procedures, views, functions, etc in SQL Server (2008R2) • Perform unit testing and defect fixing • Lead/mentor other developers and share knowledge

Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience with C# (3.5/4.0), ASP.NET, SQL Server, XML, Silverlight, WCF / Web Services.

• 5+ years of application support experience.

• Software Development, QA and Release Management.

Experience:

• No new software development.

• Job recovery

• On call 24*7 support is very essential • Strong knowledge of .NET 3.5 / 4.0 Framework, including Visual Studio 2008, ASP.NET, C#.NET, ASMX and WCF Web Services, T-SQL • Work with SQL Server 2008 stored procedures • Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices • Excellent communication skills (oral and written), interpersonal skills, and multi-tasking capabilities.

• Ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical audience.

• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing complex environment • Self-motivated, detail oriented, ability to work within a fast-paced environment • Understanding application architecture experience a plus Preferred Education & Training:

 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent • Microsoft certifications are a plus
