Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a project I've been working on: KanjiDraw (kanjidraw.com), a web app for learning Japanese kanji through stroke-order drawing practice.

KanjiVG is at the heart of the site. I use the SVG stroke data to render kanji animations and let users practice writing each character in the correct stroke order. One small touch I'm quite happy with: the strokes are rendered with a brush effect, which gives the practice a more authentic, calligraphy-like feel rather than the usual thin-line display.

The site covers all JLPT levels (N5–N1) with a progression system, drawing recognition, and a kanji dictionary. It's free to use.

I'd love to be included in the KanjiVG project catalog or list of sites using KanjiVG. Happy to answer any questions or share more details. Looking forward to your feedback!

Thank you for maintaining such a wonderful open dataset — it's been a pleasure to build on top of it.

Best regards,
Glen

Thank you for letting us know about your project using KanjiVG. I've added it to the projects page on the website. I hope your site will be successful.

Incidentally I did a quick check for dead links there and there was nothing gone.
