Having great success with creating particles. Had a couple of
questions.

1.) Are there any plans to create a "turn off" button, as opposed to
having to pick up objects to stop the particle effect?

2.) Are the Templates usable?

Use the objectsetparticle api in conjunction with the
objectremoveparticle api to set and remove particles via script. And
yes the templates are free to use and expand upon.

As far as the templates, the dropdowns are greyed out. How to enable
them?

You mean when you create a new 3D app you cant select a template?
Should be part of that wizard. Let me know that could be a bad issue.
