Hello everyone,

I'd like to wish you a happy 2011 and let you know that, around December 20th, 2010, my gmail account was hacked.  I apologize if you received a message around that time saying I was stranded in the UK.  That email was a hoax, and I have had control over my account since December 23rd.

Since my account was compromised during my move from India to Washington DC, I recently was able restore all of my contact email addresses.  However, if you sent me an email anytime between Dec.17th-22nd and I did not respond, I would appreciate it if you could resend it since the spammer wiped out my inbox as well.

If you are a Facebook contact, I am still trying to restore access to the account: please ignore anything sent to you that's not from this gmail address (apod...@gmail.com) or my Cornell email address (ap...@cornell.edu).

Thank you for your patience and I apologize for any inconvenience this caused you.

Best, Anne
