it is a server application with web client. To install it you need to download the kanbanik-application and the kanbanik-runtime. unpack both and follow the instructions in the readmes - basically just drop the war file inside the jetty/webapps folder

OK I see the reamme is the same as on the site..
it really doesnt help anymore.
if it possible to explain it better for someone that doesnt understand what  6,6,7,and 8 mean

i understand to copy the .war file into the directory <kanbanik-runtime-root>/jetty/webapps/
(<kanbanik-runtime-root>/ being the directory in the server I put Kanban in. Is this right??)(Say Worktask)
then I change back to the directory to <kanbanik-runtime-root> ( in my case worktask)
I see the next two files start.sh stop.sh. Can you explain this better please

and how do I execute these from my browser to make kanban run??
open your web browser and go to http://localhost:4041/kanbanik/

do I just put http://mydomain.com:4041/kanbanik   (is kandanik the directory I should put it in??)

thanks

In order to install and run the application:
1: go to http://code.google.com/p/kanbanik/downloads/list
2: download the latest 0.2.x version of the application (e.g. kanbanik-application-0.2.x.zip)
3: extract it
4: it will contain the kanbanik.war file
5: copy this file to <kanbanik-runtime-root>/jetty/webapps/ - please note that it has to be named kanbanik.war
6: cd to <kanbanik-runtime-root>
6: make the start and stop scripts executable by running chmod +x start.sh stop.sh
7: start the application with ./start.sh
8: open your web browser and go to http://localhost:4041/kanbanik/

To stop the application, run ./stop.sh

Do you mean it is run on a company server? and not on a website/domain.
I wanted it to be able to have 2 people access it from different places.
So am I not able to do this??
