Hi,

first, thank you for your grat job ! This app is really useful.

Some of them would appreciate the possibility to collase project on a displayed board (not filtering it) to gain immediate visibility. Do you plan to offer this change ?

In the same idea, would it be possible to collapse workflowitems, eg. a "backlog" workflowitem, witch would result in collapsing a whole column ?

Best regards

Hi,

what you mean by collapsing the project? How would it differ from filtering it out?

About collapsing the workflowitems - well, yeah, I would like to have this feature but not sure when will I get to it. After releasing this version I will start working on some better authorization with actual rights and not that everyone who has access to kanbanik has full rights. This will eat up lots of my time and has higher priority.

On the other hand, patches welcome :) But really, if you would like to get your hands dirty, I will guide you through the patch. Otherwise please open a bug for it so it will not get forgotten.

thanx for using Kanbanik :)

The idea is to simplify the process of hiding some projects while still seeing them on board.

Ok. I understand priorities. It's life !

I became a pythonic guy... My java is so far... Ideally I would really like to help this great project, but I'm not sure to be good enough !

Many thanks to you !

Ah yeah, similar to the workflowitem collapsing, I get it now

Well, if you wish I can try to guide you through. I like teaching people. If you want to join in some other way you can try to write some scripts around it - for example something which would listen to SSE events generated by kanbanik and would send mails (notifications) from it - python is an ideal language for this task. Or you could just talk to people evangelizing it - either some blogs or something similar. This part is something I'm really not good at and is needed... Or, just keep betatesting the RCs - the more people will see them the better :) You really don't need to be a java/scala developer to join kanbanik ;)
