Well, it has been quite some time now since I sent out an update, and, as seems to be the norm with me, a lot has happened since then.

But, for a change of pace this time around I am going to just give you all the Cliff Notes version here in the e-mail, and the more (and what most of you would consider normal, long version) detailed breakdown of events will be posted at www.kamnetz.com under the Blog section (if you look along the right hand side of the page you'll see a link to Blog articles). If and when you get around to reading the longer version, as always, you may want to get a soda, beer, water, or food before hand. It's long. (In case you have trouble finding the blog section, here is a direct link, click!!!)

-------

I am now sponsored by Power Bar, the world's leader in sport's nutrition products. This sponsorship contract is a 2-year long deal.

I spent all of spring break out in sunny San Diego, CA living with one of my best friends, Brad Culp, and his girl friend. They live in La Jolla where Brad works for Triathlete Magazine (just like me) and Jaime works as a child speech therapist.

I spent the week following spring break in The Woodlands, TX and Galveston, TX training and racing with some members of the Multisport Madness/Riptide Triathlon Team.

I finished third overall in my first Triathlon of the season in Galveston, TX at the Lone Star Triathlon.

I just got back this past weekend from doing a number of cycling races in Indiana (Purdue and Marian Colleges). I finished first overall in the TTT (Team Time Trial) and second overall in the RR (Road Race…think normal, long bike race).

I have finally declared my majors here at the UW-Madison and am now able to graduate in the fall of 2008 with a B.S. Degree double majoring in Economics and History. I am graduating after three and half years in college.

My biggest and most important race of the season is coming up in only 6 days time. The PATCO Pan American Triathlon Championships are occurring in Mazatlan, Mexico on April 19th and I will be there vying for one of two World Champion spots that are up for grabs.

---------

In short, I have spent the last 5 weeks traveling all over the country. I haven't been home much, but I have gotten a large number of airline miles J And, as always, hit me back with any questions you may have!
