Why Can 39;t I Download Zoom Recording >>>>> https://urlgoal.com/2zzpLZ

Please help, I am so frustrated. I need this to look over a very important work meeting. I was the host and I know it is saved on my computer because I somehow found it last week but then closed it because I didn't have the time to rewatch it at the time. Now no matter where I look I can't find it. I have logged into my zoom desktop app and nothing is listed under recordings. I have also used the search function on my computer and searched my hard drive for "zoom" as that's how I believe I found it before, yet after checking out every folder I still don't see it. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've spent over an hour searching and am losing my mind!

I've received a web link to a Zoom recording. At the link, an in-page player opens, and the video starts playing. I can see that the page is issuing an HTTP GET request for an MP4 file with a bunch of parameters; but - I can't just retrieve that MP4, I get a "missing key", or a "Forbidden" if I also add the parameters.

When there is a recording of Zoom meetings, the recording is saved in a local file at the machine of the host that recorded the video. You probably received a link that does not allow you to download or open the video from outside your company (or without authentication). My company does that to prevent confidential information leakage, since nobody from outside should be allowed to see/know private information. Maybe that is the case for you...

Cloud recordings are automatically transferred to Cornell's Video on Demand service. You will be able to access your meeting recordings there; you will not be able to access them through Zoom's web portal. Cloud recordings are not retained indefinitely and are auto-deleted after 120 days. The VOD is the long-term repository for Zoom cloud recordings (beyond 120 days).

The meeting host can record their own meetings. The vendor's documentation on Allowing a Participant to Record covers this topic. The vendor's page refers to local recording, but the same steps work for cloud recording.

Once the recording has been stopped, Zoom will process the recording, then transfer it to Cornell's Video on Demand service. You'll get a message from Zoom telling you that your recording has been transferred, but it might not be available in Cornell's Video on Demand service immediately.

As an instructor, you also have a few additional options forrecordings of meetings that you scheduled via your Canvas course site. From theZoom link in the course navigation menu, on the Cloud Recordings tab,you can:

You can enable the Audio transcript option in the settings of your personal Zoom account. Once enabled, transcripts are automatically generated for new cloud recordings of meetings you scheduled.

If you want your video to be available in Kaltura as soon as possible and it hasn't arrived yet from Zoom, you can always download the recording directly from Zoom and then upload it manually to Kaltura.

While the rare failure of the Kaltura-Zoom integration is frustrating, slow internet speeds or monthly data caps enforced by your ISP may make downloading and uploading your Zoom recordings infeasible. If this applies to you, reach out to kal...@ucsd.edu and we'll help! When you reach out, please provide the following information:

I've been recording screen sharing presentations using Quicktime on my Mac and it uses x264 format with 60fps. The produced video file is with type MOV and around 2.2GB for 1 hour of presentation. I want to compress it using ffmpeg and I've been doing so using x264 as well. Here are my arguments:

I rescale my video to 1600px width to save on space and I also convert the recording to 24fps as I see no need to have the full 60fps available. It's mostly static images as I talk over my screen. This results in about 100MB file using the -profile:v high argument. Otherwise it is around 160MB.

On the other hand Zoom recording for much larger resolutions (4k etc) are around 80MB per 1 hour. Does anyone know what options we can use to approximate this file size and quality? I know they are using lower quality audio which might explain some of the difference.

I used the arguments -vf mpdecimate -vsync vfr in order to remove the duplicate frames. In a screen recording we have a lot of duplicate frames so removing them results in a much smaller file size. I also use -cfr 36 as I found it to still produce good results since now I encode in native resolution.

Once you've downloaded the recording file from the Zoom cloud, you can upload the file to your Google Drive and share it with those who will need to access it. You may share with students, faculty, staff, and non-Brown affiliated individuals, just as you may for any other item in your Google Drive.

If you have a Zoom recording stored locally, you can upload it to Google Drive by selecting the file from where you stored it on your computer, just as you would once you've downloaded a Zoom recording from the cloud. If you cannot locate your recording, go to brown.zoom.us and select the "Local Recording" section. It's next to the Cloud Recording title in the "Recordings" section. You will see a list of the recordings and location where the file is stored on your computer.

If you choose to record to the cloud in Zoom, your recording will be automatically moved to a folder named "Meeting Recordings" within your My Folder in UICapture. From there you can set up links between a specific Meeting ID (from Zoom) to a folder in Panopto. Do note, this is a 1:1 relationship. If you need to share a recording with more than one course we recommend sharing it with the UICapture External Tool in ICON. ( -Session)

While you can generally expect to see your recordings to become available in UICapture within 2-3 hours, it could take up to 24 hours for everything to process when the platforms are seeing unexpected heavy use.

For Users in the Health Sciences (HCC): Cloud recordings remain for 30 days before being deleted. Make sure you download any recordings you wish to keep beyond 30 days. Recently, Zoom Cloud Recording was approved for use within the Health Care Component (HCC). As a result, you may utilize Zoom to record PHI in situations that require it, but it is not recommended. Zoom is a temporary storage solution and you should observe all standard best practices around the recording and storage of PHI. We recommend Box Secure Storage as the preferred method of retention for recordings containing PHI.

If you want to retain recordings older than 180 days, before they are deleted, you must download the files. We do not recommend storing your Zoom recordings on your device. Video files tend to be large and can slow device performance. Take advantage of the following University-funded storage solutions.

You can manage your Zoom recordings at any time. To see a list of your recordings, visit zoom.umn.edu, log in, then select recordings from the left navigation menu. From this page, you can view, share, download, or delete Zoom recordings.

Zoom stores your cloud recordings 180 days, then moves them to the trash for a period of 30 days (a total of 210 days). During the 30 days that your recordings are in the trash folder, you can recover and download your recordings. After those 30 days, Zoom will permanently delete your file, whether you have retrieved it from the trash or not.

To keep your recovered recording, you must download it and move it to longer-term storage before it is scheduled to be deleted. Note: Zoom provides the "delete time" for cloud recordings on the Recordings page. Sign in to Zoom and select the Recordings Tab to manage your recordings.
