Let me brief you about the issues what my kid had from past 6 months:

My baby boy was born on 18/8/2014 and he was doing well till 20 days of age, then after he was suffering from cough. We took him to hospital on 06/ Sep/ 2014 (Fernandez hospital Hyderabad) and doctors had been confirmed that, he had infected with pneumonia, so they admitted and started investigation on the problems what he had.

After investigations they confirmed that, he had congenital heart disease (TAPVC) and biliary atresia for both diseases he need to undergo two major high risk surgeries.( discharged from Fernandez hospital on 22/ Sep/2014) So we shifted him to another hospital for further treatment on 22/Sep/2014 to (Lotus children’s Hospital Hyderabad).

Initially doctors decided to do the Open Heart surgery on 24/Sep/2014 and then after my kid got recovered from the heart disease and the second surgery (biliary atresia, Kasai Procedure) was done on 8/ Oct/ 2014 and he got discharged on 30/Oct/2014.

Doctors mentioned that, need to wait for the second surgery results. However, we had been waited for two months. Unfortunately the surgery was not successful and the liver functionality got damaged up to 90%. Currently, baby’s condition is not good and need immediate liver transplant as suggested by doctors.

For the both surgery’s I had almost spent more than 8 lacs. Currently I’m in a very bad situation that I can’t even bare further medical treatment for my baby.

And I had also consulted Dr. Neelam mohan

(Director: Department of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Liver Transplantation

From Medanta Medi city hospital New Delhi), for liver transplant and they have given expenditure letter for the treatment. It would cost more than 20 lacs rupees.

Please find the below mentioned link of all investigations reports, baby’s surgery pics  and discharge summary from Lotus Hospital, Expenditure letter from Dr. Neelam Mohan, Medanta Medi city New Delhi.
