Summer Internship at Interactions

The Spoken Language Technology (SLT) group at Interactions is looking for interns to work on interesting ASR related projects this summer. We also have permanent positions available. Interactions delivers speech and natural language technology solutions for leading organizations, device manufacturers and application developers that seamlessly integrates human and artificial intelligence. Interns will be part of what was formerly the AT&T Labs Speech and Language Research department that was acquired by Interactions in December, 2014. They will work closely with SLT scientists on the data and algorithms driving our products and services with an opportunity to make an impact at a large scale.

Description:
Interactions is looking for a highly motivated intern to work on new approaches for the speech recognition to intent classification pipeline. The intern will work together with SLT scientists to leverage our vast speech and text databases to develop and implement algorithms, perform experiments, and prepare results for publication.

Qualifications:
Experience in applying deep neural networks (CNNs, RNNs, LSTMs, etc.) or other deep learning methods to ASR or NLP
Strong programming ability (Python and C++ preferred)
Experience with speech and language or other machine learning software such as Kaldi, Torch, TensorFlow, Theano, etc.
