RIR and Musan data

Hi.

I'm studying denoise now.

I noticed that some examples run reverberate_data_dir.py on RIR noise data and augment_data_dir.py on MUSAN data.


I think they are all noise data, but why do they use different scripts on each other?

Please explain me about two above scripts and data.

RIRs add reverberation to simulate far-field (reverberant) audio. MUSAN adds point source and background noises to simulate noisy recording conditions.
