How to get triphone alignment

Hello,

I’ve trained a chain model ,now I’m doing alignment using steps/nnet3/align.sh ,

I get ali.gz .then  I use ali-to-phone , I get only  phone alignment,but I want get triphone alignment result, what script should I use?

Generally we use 

steps/align_si.sh --nj "$train_nj" --cmd "$train_cmd" --use-graphs true data/train data/lang exp/tri2 $expdir/tri2_ali

I think It’s gmm model result. But I want using chain model to get triphone alignment result.

I don’t know if the two models get same result . But for gmm it’s triphone number is much more than chain model.The feature dim is also different.

So can you explain me why gmm model phone alignment is same as chain models result?

Alignment is a relatively easy task so doesn't require a powerful model, and GMMs are better at it, partly because of their loss function which is based on a generative model, not sequence discrimination.

I use steps/align_si.sh get alignment,

but I still  get only uni phone alignment by using ali-to-phone ,what can I use that makes me get the triphone per frames alignment  Thanks!
