Dear friends,

You're invited to attend our next Kalamazoo Interfaith Forum. Sunday February 14,  2016 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM in the Olmstead Room, Mandelle Hall, at Kalamazoo College.

Topic:Children, family and religion: How is family life incorporated into a religious or spiritual path? One angle on this could be: How do we introduce spirituality or religion to children'? Another might be: In a time when a growing number of families are composed of mixed faith members or "nones" how do we coexist respectfully while maintaining our personal faith or views?

Attendees or those who are unable to attend: If you are inclined, please submit presentation summaries as Word or text documents to our webmaster, Naeem: naeemco...@yahoo.com before or after this Sunday's meeting.

Sincerely,

Neil

Dear friends,

You're cordially invited to attend our next Kalamazoo Interfaith Forum, this Sunday October 9,  2016 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM.  Well be hosted by The Lutheran Church of the Savior, 3616 East G Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49004 (between Nazareth Rd and Sprinkle Rd).

Topic:  How the current Refugee Resettlement is impacting, ourselves, our individual communities, and the Kalamazoo community at large.  Lutheran Church of the Savior has direct connections with the resettlement as well as a relationship with Samaritas, one of the resettlement organizations, which was formerly Lutheran Social Services. We might also address how to reach out to other community Interfaith organizations to coordinate and pool efforts to help address the needs of the resettlement.

Peace to you,
Dave +
