Hi, everybody.

The second Sunday of May is coming up this Sunday, but it's also Mother's Day. So, we won't have our usual monthly meeting. For those who would be interested in attending an alternative event that has an interfaith element, you could attend the annual Kalamazoo Peace Pizzazz at Bronson Park on Saturday May 30, from Noon - 4 PM. Typically, there are representatives there from the Sikh and Muslim faiths, as well as several Christian denominations. It's a fun even for kids, in particular. There is music and there are activities for children.

We had a small but nice gathering at Kanley Chapel on the campus of WMU in April. It's a good space for KIF, we thought. We'll try to reserve rooms there for future KIF meetings. Two new ideas surfaced from the April meeting:

1) We'd like to plot out the topics for the whole year, so that we'll know, in advance, what each month's topic will be.

 2) Traditionally, we've taken a summer hiatus. However, there was some interest in continuing to meet over the summer in a more casual manner. Basically, meeting up at a coffee shop for discussion during the summer June-August. In Sept., we'd resume our meetings at Kanley, the Gurdwara or elsewhere.

So, let's have our next meeting on Sunday June 14, 2015 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Water Street Cafe on Oakland Dr. This can be a casual planning meeting, where we can create a calendar of topics for the next year. I'll send a reminder in June.

Peace,

_/|\_

Neil

Great. Good to know, Robert. You have an excellent space. We really appreciate your hosting in the past.

Hi all.
Sorry to miss the last one.
Shambhala SW Michigan is often available to be scheduled, or as a back-up.
