Dear friends,

You are cordially invited to attend the next Kalamazoo Interfaith Forum on Sunday, October 12, 2014.

*Please note: This Sunday we will be hosted by the Shambhala Buddhist Meditation Group of Southwest Michigan. See the address below and the additional directions provided by Robert Walker at the end of this message.

Location:

1611 W. Centre Ave.
Suite 208
Portage, Michigan

Time:

4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Topic: "How does your religion/faith/worldview understand or conceptualize the relationship between humans and nature?"

We will follow our usual format this Sunday: Each participant will give a 5 to 7 minute explanation of her or his perspective on the relationship between humans and nature according to one's faith or other guiding principles--this could include thoughts on what faith traditions bring to environmental questions like climate change. A group discussion will follow.

Thanks to the Shambhala Buddhist Meditation Group of Southwest Michigan for hosting us.

Sincerely,

Neil Chase

Dear friends,

Sometimes people have trouble finding out space, the first time. The trouble
is, the building does not face the street, so your GPS won't get you there.
So here are more thorough directions with a map.

Meeting at:
1611 W. Centre Ave., Suite 208, Portage
Location: Just east of Oakland Dr. on W. Centre. Enter from Valleywood Lane going south off of Centre Ave., take the 2nd driveway on the left at the BDN sign into the parking lot. 1611 Centre will be on the left. Suite 208 is on the 2nd floor. Handicap access on the right side of the building.
