Team, 

Homestretch guys...last stage of the contest! I know you are all exhausted and don't even want to think a min more about Kalakaar, but the event and team still needs you! Are you all ready to put in that extra effort needed to make this event the best Vibha has ever conducted? 

Team, please find the tasks and the owners of these tasks. Please review this and let me know if you are okay with the assignment. Please voice your opinions and concerns. I really need your input in refining this task list. Remember that the whole team is there to help the owners drive the tasks to completion. 

Tejal, Aditya and Sumanth - please let me know if you are available during the next 3 weeks to work on Kalakaar. I will reassign some tasks to you guys too. Also, let me know if you are particularly interested in any of the tasks, and you shall have it ;) 

1) FB updates (Hetal and Kannan)
  • Photo updates/ winner updates/ Thanking the sponsors and pledge drive donors - Hetal
  • Success stories, Engaging conversations - Kannan 
2) Second/ Third rounds of Judging - (Ashwini and Vaishali) 
  • Reminders to judges to complete their submissions/ ratings - Ashwini
  • Dividing 2nd round photos (about 100 photos) - Vaishali and Ashwini
  • Coming up with a rating system - Ashwini
  • Sending the second round emails to judges - Vaishali
  • Divide third round of judging (35 photos) - Ashwini
  • Handling ties - Ashwini/ Vaishali/ Hetal
  • Get winners addresses to post prizes - Vaishali
  • Make album of winners for IT - Ashwini
3) Ordering Prizes ( Meenal and Vivek) 
  • Follow-up with Rajesh about the volunteer in Adobe to get us the latest Photoshop software
  • Follow-up with itasveer 
  • Order ipad and itunes
  • Order photo magazine subscription for Most Inspiring Photo winner 
  • Order $25 gift cards and online photography magazine subscription for Runner-ups
  • Talk to Arvind to put the album of winners on all Vibha media outlets

  • Announce winners on website

For reference: Results and Prizes: 

Vibha will announce the winners of Digital Nirvana Kalakaar 2012, to all participants and media by early-December 2012.

Grand Prize: One grand prize will be awarded to the best photograph received. The winner will receive an Apple i-pad and $100 Apple itunes gift card. The winning photo will be enlarged and donated for display at selected that Vibha supports.
First-Place Prizes: Each of the three theme categories will have one first place winner selected. Winners will receive CS6 software (a $200 value) and 18 x 24 inches canvas print of their photographs sponsored by iTasveer . The winning photos will be enlarged and donated for display at selected schools that Vibha supports.
'Most Inspiring Photo' Prize: One winner will receive Adobe Photoshop CS6 software (a $200 value) and an annual subscription of a leading photography magazine. The winning photos will be enlarged and donated for display at selected schools that Vibha supports.
Runner-up Prizes: Fifteen runner-up winners receive a $25 gift card and an annual subscription of a leading photography magazine.
Talent Showcase: 30 best photos will be showcased on Vibha website for over a month. Vibha will showcase the winning photographs through various mediums like blog, newsletter, annual calendar and web pages owned by Vibha. All winners will be recognized with certificates from Vibha.

Ill work on the uploading pics this weekend. Ive been super busy at work (both jobs) pretty long days hence, i havent been able to upload them on fb.

That's okay Hetal... stretch it out till Dec 1st ....we don't have much to post anyways :) . Thank you so much for doing the hardest job so far! You are keeping our audience engaged!

Hi Ashwini,
I would really like to talk about this and get more details on how we will do this.
I believe there is a TC tomorrow, but it says 3am, not sure about that.
Also, wasnt sure if you did try to call me and I missed it somehow, if so i am really sorry!
lets try to catch up at the TC tomorrow.

Team, 

Seems like most people, including me, are going to be out today to make most of the long weekend. I was thinking of our moving our Conf call to Monday of next week ( Nov 26th). Would that be okay? 

Please reply with your availability and I will send a updated invitation. 

Vaishali, could you please give me a call at 952-388-8281 whenever you are free today before 8 PM CST. I really need your input on the judging process.
