Respected Brother-in-Islam,
Assalamu Alaikkum Warahmathullahi Wabarakaathuhu.
Realizing the responsibility of spreading the divine message of Islam, Tamil Nadu Development Foundation Trust (TNDFT) of
Tamil Nadu - India, has been actively doing Da'wah work among non-Muslims for the
last 21 years.
Alhamdulillah! To impart true Islamic knowledge for the reverted
Muslims, an Islamic research and training institute "Darul Hikmah
(Arivagam) Madarasa for Men" was started in 1996. In the last 18 years, 3003
new Muslims have benefited from the 4 month basic Islamic course conducted here
regularly.
For a similar purpose "Darul Hikmah (Arivagam) Madarasa for Women"
was started in 2003. In the last 11 years, 1451 women have passed out of a
similar 4 month course. At both the centers, boarding, lodging, medical and
legal requirements during their 4 month stay, are provided free of cost.
Moreover, in caring for our destitute sisters, a Women's Care Center has been
set up and is functioning as a part of this center for the last 10 years. By
the grace of Allah last year we performed 5 Sisters marriages through Care Center.
At present 25 destitute sisters with their children reside in Center.
In our efforts to spread the message of Islam to the thousands of villages of
Tamil Nadu, we conduct Da'wah tours to villages. In the last 18 years we have
introduced Islam to more than 7802 villages. By the grace of Allah Almighty,
last year alone, we had reached 393 villages. We had met 13,023 people of which
202 people accepted Islam. Alhamdulillah!
By the grace of Allah Almighty in addition to the above, we have embarked on
many new projects (details attached) with our trust and faith solely on Allah
Almighty.
Our efforts not limited to Tamil Nadu, our social activities are now also in
other Indian states New Delhi, Rajasthan, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh,
Pondicherry, Goa, Manipur, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal & Maharashtra.
We are working hand in hand, shoulder to shoulder with other organizations and
trusts who working towards empowering Indian Muslims and downtrodden. We
recently extended our social activities to Assam, Orissa, Jharkhand &
Madhya Pradesh also. Alhamdulillah!
We deliver our best efforts in providing adequate assistance and appropriate
guidance in education, health services and employment and try to provide
freedom, justice and security to all the people.
With the blessings of Allah, the Almighty and with your tremendous support, our
Dawa and Social upliftment activities will continue to reach more homes and
villages in all possible means... Insha Allah!
