Greatnews DarrenHill - I reformatted the WD Passport Ultra 4T drive to ExFAT format using Partition in Disk Utility on my Mac and recopied my mp4 file onto it, then when I plugged it into the Samsung Powered port - the Samsung Smart TV recognized it and played it beautifully - Thank you so much!! - I so appreciate your suggestion of FAT32 format - since that specific format was not offered as one of the options on my Disk Utility app, I tried the ExFAT format with great success!! The ExFAT format also works on my Mac Mojave OS computer!
Because most maps you see here are not designed for Nightmare. Always playing on Nightmare is like eating cup noodles by eating the noodles dry, drinking boiling hot water and then snorting the seasoning. You could, but why would you?
It's like the difference between eating jalapenos vs eating Carolina reapers. Most people don't want that level of spice in their food, and most people don't want that level of difficulty in their game.
Nightmare is mostly only feasible in the original maps. Many mapsets have encounters with so many monsters that the presence of respawning monsters by itself creates a situation where they are respawning faster than you can kill them all, and it gets even worse if it involves a lot of backtracking. Even with double ammo, it may get to the point where there isn't enough ammo to clear your path to the exit, and if (instant reaction time) hit scanners keep respawning, your chances of survival basically boil down to RNG.
Nightmare isn't just harder, it's *inconsistently* harder (some parts are about the same, some parts are now impossible), and it involves gameplay dynamics that never come up in the other skill levels (infinitely respawning monsters, much faster monster reactions, some monsters fire so frequently they don't move far from their starting point).
E1M3 is a real showstopper, it's actually one of the hardest maps in Doom to play on Nightmare in my opinion. The fact that you have to revisit so many areas where all the pickups are gone after your first visit, but the 5 or so shotgun guys with no reaction time are all back. And too few bullets for the chaingun to mow'em down before they can get you...
It changes up the gameplay too much. Going from skill 1 to skill 4 largely just ups the monsters and in some cases lowers the powerups and ammo, you only go up in skill as you play as all the quirks of the monsters are learnt. Nightmare punches your muscle memory by making the monsters go berserk and attack nonstop with faster projectiles/move faster, and they now respawn all over the place so you have to adjust. You cant even cheat to practice on these new monster AI patterns. As such, ive always seen the skill level as a joke (Turned out I was right; it WAS a joke from id) and for people with something to prove, like leaderboard climbers.
I remember when nightmare first appeared as an extra difficulty. Gave it a try, thought "lol very funny ID". Nowadays though I'm considering giving it a serious go (but I am strange in liking difficulty. Not everyone's bag).
Ultra Violence isn't the standard difficulty either. Most people here played long enough to become comfortable with higher difficulties but give the game to a newbie to fps games and they'll die on hey not too rough.

This bug has been around for a LONG TIME - and Apple refuses to do anything about it... Apple also refuses to even acknowledge that the bug exists... but I've had this issue for a very long time - and doing a google search reveals that A LOT of people have this issue...
And one search on these forums shows someone getting chastises for not checking the activity monitor for a "runaway process" - well... to that individual - if you're reading this post... skip this one... because there is not a runaway process happening. There's also another post which points to an audio process - but this process doesn't even exist after Mojave - so that is also not the issue.
Yes... it's in there! Thanks for that... but it's not a runaway process. Also... I noticed that when this happens... "Chrome Helper" is at 100%. The strange thing is... I think Chrome is freaking out because of this bug...not creating it... because it's system-wide. I'll keep at it! Thanks for the great feedback... you were right... it was there. When I quit Chrome - the bug was still there... seems like Chrome hates this bug... Youtube can't play (of course) - because it just buffers to the end of the end... (speeds up to it)... then the CPU goes nuts.
Recently I reviewed the Sony BDP-S6700 (Buy at Crutchfield), Blu-ray player and quite liked it as a high-value audio player. It was versatile enough to handle multiple formats, not just the Blu-ray discs that you saw on the front of the box. So I thought I would check out another well-regarded Blu-ray disc player, the Panasonic DP-UB820-K, to see how it held up against the Sony. Is this $499 player worth the extra money, or would we find that the Sony is still a better value in the modern disc-player space?
If your primary focus is to play Ultra HD Blu-ray discs, then the Panasonic DP-UB820-K is definitely worth your consideration. But it also gives you the option to play CDs and Hi-Res music from a hard drive or USB thumb drive, as well as all of the legacy video formats.
This recall involves the inclined sleeper accessory sold with all Ultra-Lite Day & Night Play Yards with model numbers CBV60, CHP86, CHR06, CJK24, and DJD11. The model number is located on the fabric label inside of the play yard and on the fabric label on the back of the inclined sleeper pad. The product is a portable play yard with inclined sleeper and changing station clutch accessories and a carry bag; the inclined sleeper accessory is the only portion of the product that is being recalled.
Consumers should immediately stop using the inclined sleeper accessory and contact Fisher-Price for a refund or voucher. Consumers can continue to use the play yard portion of the product without the inclined sleeper accessory, and can also continue to use the changing station clutch accessory and carry bag.

Hi i own a few usb flash drives all work fine in the cars usb for the radio till now , bought 2 of these drives as there small and also usb 3.0 so quicker to copy music to , both dont work in my ford or my wifes new nissan juke ? ive formated them fat32 etc but no joy in getting them to work properly , and googling the net im not alone , shame sandisk didnt find out this problem ? or did they and didnt care ?
hi it did but ive fully formated it , ive got other sandisk drives that work fine , bought this as its usb 3.0 and small , but if you look at comments on amazon theres others out there that say the same , just wish i read the comments first , but always had faith in sandisk stuff . ive tried fat32 and fatx and even tried different cluster sizes etc but no joy.
Next time you want to delete files/folders on a USB drive use Windows Explorer to remove them, and delete them from the Recycle Bin should they end up there. Or you could simply write your files along side the SanDisk files. Formating worked with old simple USB drives years ago but this modern stuff needs a more caution approach. IMO
I have same problem, i buy a sdcz43-032g-g46 ultra fit 32gb and dont wort in my car too. I try with original format, try with FAT32, NTFS, and exFAT and none of them work. put only one song on it without folder and still doesent work, i have and old 16gb sandisk cruizer fit and it work fine with same music on it.
i was waiting for them to blame the car etc , so why is it i have about 4 or 5 different sticks most being sandisk and they all work , as i said amazon has others on it with same problem , sort it out sandisk , ford is a popular make so its not to hard to take one out to the staff car park and try . Every time i see these on hotukdeals or amazon etc im gonna post avoid if for car use
